For Riders
Become a Delivery Rider in Karachi: How Riding with Society Kart Works
Want to earn by delivering in your own neighbourhood? Here is how Society Kart riders work — going online, accepting deliveries, collecting payments, fees and dues, and staying safe.

Many people in Karachi already have a motorbike and a few free hours a day. Society Kart lets riders use that time to deliver orders inside their own housing society — short distances, familiar streets and customers who are neighbours.
This guide explains how riding with Society Kart works, honestly: what you do, how money flows, what fees apply and what we do not promise.
Riders on Society Kart are independent. We do not promise a fixed salary, a number of deliveries or a level of earnings. Read the Rider Policy before you apply.
Who can become a rider?
You need:
- An Android phone with internet
- A motorbike or scooter, and the licence and documents that apply to you
- To live in or near the society you want to deliver in
- To pass Society Kart's verification
Apply in the app, or start by sending us a message. The team checks your details before you can go online.
How a delivery works

1. Go online when you are available. You can go offline any time. 2. Receive delivery requests from shops in your society. You can hold a small number of active deliveries at once (currently up to 3), so you are not overloaded. 3. Go to the shop, check the order and pay the shop for the items. 4. Deliver to the customer. Use the route in your maps app if you need it. 5. Collect payment — cash, or check the customer's JazzCash/Easypaisa screenshot. 6. Confirm delivery by entering the customer's 4-digit delivery code in the app.
The app shows pickup and drop-off details, and each status change is recorded, so there is no confusion later.
How money flows
Society Kart keeps the money flow simple:
- The customer pays you: items total + delivery charge (Rs. 100).
- You pay the shop the items total at pickup.
- The delivery charge part is your delivery earning, minus the platform fee.
Your earnings screen shows:
- Cash collected from customers
- Amounts paid to shops
- Platform fees and dues
- Dues you have paid
Platform fee and dues
- Platform fee: Rs. 30 per completed delivery, recorded separately from your delivery earnings.
- Fees build up as dues, which you pay to Society Kart with a payment screenshot that an admin approves.
- If unpaid dues reach the limit set by the admin (currently Rs. 500), you cannot take new deliveries until they are cleared.
Clearing dues regularly keeps you online without interruptions.
Customer privacy and safety
As a Society Kart rider:
- You never see customers' phone numbers, and they never see yours.
- Use in-app chat and free in-app calls if you need to reach the customer or shop.
- Numbers typed in chat are blocked; please don't try to share them.
- Order voice notes are deleted after the order finishes.
Your location is shared while you are on duty so customers can follow their delivery. Ride safely, follow traffic rules, and report any incident through support. Read more in Your Number Stays Private.
Wallet payments: check before you hand over
When a customer pays by JazzCash or Easypaisa:
1. They send money to your wallet and upload the screenshot. 2. Check your wallet app to confirm the money has actually arrived. 3. Confirm in the Society Kart app, then hand over the order.
Never hand over an order on the strength of a screenshot alone. See Cash, JazzCash or Easypaisa? for more.
